  • What Makes It Uncommon
You don’t need birdseed or a cozy nest to invite Samara Phillips’ striking stained-glass sparrow into your home—just a sunny spot to hang it in. Inspired by folk art and the rich symbolism of these delicate birds (resilience, hope, freedom, and joy), each stunning white-and-blue piece is handmade by Samara herself.

    • Built-in hanging wire.
    • Measures 6L x 6W.
    • Handmade in South Carolina.
Uncommon Knowledge: Introduced to the United States in the 1850s, house sparrows are now one of the most widespread birds in the world.

    Care

Glass is fragile, handle with care. To clean your piece wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth or microfiber towel. Oxidation of the solder is normal over time. If you wish to restore a polished look, lay your piece on a towel and gently rub on Carnuba Wax. Let it dry to a haze, then polish off gently with a cotton cloth. Do not use ammonia, vinegar or any acid-based cleanser, like Windex to clean your stained glass. Wash your hands after cleaning or handling your stained glass. We do not recommend hanging any stained glass with suction cups.
