This book is really cute and well done! I was at first a little disappointed that it wasn't more choose-your-own-adventure style (The same pages are progressed through so there's not much variation to the overall story, but the dice helps choose how you get through each page) but it ended up suiting my 5-year-old perfectly. She brought it to her school and they all had a great time playing with it as well. My 9-year-old played it once and then was done with it, though, so it's definitely just for a younger kid :)

Got this as a gift for my niece, and she absolutely adored it!!! The amount of options for each roll of the dice will ensure that she can read it again and again! It's a game and a story building tool all in one.

I bought this to introduce my niece to the concept of choose-your-own-adventure books. The execution of the game mechanic is a little clumsy - sometimes you have to roll multiple times to get to the next activity, with no real instruction on what happens between rolls - but the book itself is well-made. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous. My niece liked that she could make different stories every time, and it was easy to keep talking about the different illustrations in the book. Entertaining and a new favorite. #sweepstakes

This book/ game is a cute way to introduce your little princess to board games. The book can be read without playing the board game as well. Illustrations are beautiful and the story is fun and silly. Perfect for the spunky little princess in your life.

This product is so cute and I can't wait to give it as a gift to my niece. I just want to warn that there is a price tag sticker on the back and it's not easy to peel off. Once you do peel it off there is sticky residue left behind AND the price is permanently printed beneath that sticker. Save yourself the trouble and leave the sticker on!

Growing up I loved choose your own adventure novels and this is a take on that for a younger age! My child is a little younger than the suggested age for this book. We tried rolling the dice but she was more interested in just picking a picture that looked the coolest to her and that's what we would choose to move forward in the adventure. Worked out great! When she gets a bit older I look forward to using the fold out map. Even without following the instructions to a T, we had so much fun reading it together. The illustrations are adorable and eye catching.
