created by Tracy Hinkin
While proud of her Welsh heritage, Tracy Hinkin calls British Columbia home. She grew up and still lives on Canada's West Coast, surrounded by mountains and the ocean. In 2019, Tracy and her husband spent their wedding anniversary in Italy. "I was awestruck by the beauty of the buildings and doors," she says. The self-taught artist spent the next year making replicas using different mediums before deciding plaster casting was how she could share her love of doors and create a small business.
