  • What Makes It Uncommon
When Mr. Toad from The Wind in the Willows wasn't tearing around the countryside in his motorcar, he was relaxing in his beloved Toad Hall—and now the amphibians in your garden can have their own delightful residence too. Tony Holman's whimsical toad house offers prime real estate for garden hoppers in search of a shady, snug retreat. The glossy, blue-green hue gives it a magical, mossy look that blends beautifully into flower beds, shrubbery, and, yes, under a willow tree—like it’s been part of your garden’s story all along.

    • Crafted of ceramic with blue-green glaze that's exclusive to Uncommon Goods.
    • Provides a cozy, shaded shelter for toads, frogs, and other friendly garden dwellers.
    • 6"L x 6"W x 5"H.
    • Please do not leave outdoors in icy precipitation.
    • Handmade in Texas.

Master Potter Tony Holman honed his pottery skills at Indiana University, going on to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Texas. He and his wife, Debbie, bought an old Victorian home in Texas to house their studio and gallery. The shapes of Tony's designs are both functional and decorative, and he pays close attention to the finishing touches. Because everything is hand crafted, no two pieces are exactly alike—lending beautiful variations of color, texture, and shape to each one.
