Volume is not adjustable. It was very low and very hard to hear. How is the child supposed to learn if they can't hear the book? Needless to say, nephew lost interest very quickly.

This is a very neat book. The songs are played and sung as well as shown in both English and French. The only thing that could be improved is that the songs are not very loud and so it doesn't capture baby's attention quite as well as it could if they could be heard a little better. Other than that, it's a very nice book. I could recommend it.

I bought this as a gift for my niece. She has been learning Spanish and this will be really great to help with that.
