What Makes It UncommonEach of these grow kits contains everything you need to cultivate a living memento of our majestic national parks.
- Acadia: As the seasons change, the verdant Sunrise coleus transforms into a gorgeous blend of pinks and corals edged with green.
- Glacier: This vibrant spray of Arctic Lupine is a symbol representing our vast imaginations.
- Grand Canyon: With leaves of green, red, orange, and rust, the coleus plant evokes the ever-changing hues of sunset in the canyon.
- Grand Smoky: A symbol of strength and longevity, the American Elm creates a cathedral-like canopy with its sweeping branches.
- Grand Teton: One of the few true blue flowers in the world (and official symbol of Grand Teton National Park), Alpine Forget-Me-Nots are a testament to the strength and beauty of nature.
- Rocky Mountain: If resilience were a tree, it would be the Limber Pine, which can withstand long winters and tundra-like environments.
- Olympic: A Sitka spruce seedling to remind you of Olympic’s awe-inspiring (and gravity-defying) Tree of Life.
- Yellowstone: You’ll find the yellow mimulus flower growing wild throughout this Western park—and now on your windowsill garden too.
- Yosemite: Amazing as it seems, all of Yosemite’s towering, ancient Sequoias started out as a redwood seedling just like this one.
- Zion: You'll find the lush Emerald Falls dichondra in Zion’s Hanging Gardens, a green oasis in the desert.
- Each kit includes a glass growing vessel, hand-filled soil bag, seed in a hermetically sealed pouch, and complete growing instructions.

Super excited to gift this to my outdoorsy SIL. Decided to purchase the Yosemite grow kit, which was advertised as a redwood seedling. Two months later and my SIL sent me a picture of her lovely new CACTUS. We had a good laugh and wrote it off as a very unique form of redwood.

We bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law who lives in Knoxville, TN and adores the Great Smoky Mountains. She lives alone, and didn't need anything large for her small home, so this plant was perfect. It combined the best of both worlds for her. Can't wait until we see how the fern grows. We never go wrong with gifts from Uncommon Goods!

I gave this as a gift. The first one I received was broken but a replacement was sent right away. Only one of the seeds (from bought packages) sprouted so I'm not sure if it was something I did wrong or if the seeds were bad. Overall, I really enjoyed this product.

I loved the idea of growing something that would remind me of my vacation place. Being in a glass container, there were some issues during shipping and they were great replacing the item TWICE.

Our Home & School Association (like a PTA) bought this for a teacher who volunteered his time to emcee our fundraiser. The theme for his performance was National Parks, so this was a no-brainer!

I loved the idea behind this collection of plants native to different national parks. My grandparents went on a few very long road trips together all over the US visiting national parks. My grandfather passed away 14 years ago on Christmas day. My grandmother loves plants in general so I bought this as a reminder of the time that her and my grandfather spent together visiting one of the national parks. She absolutely loved it. She said it was easy to set up and started growing quicker than she expected. How the plant will continue to grow and its longevity remains to be seen but so far so good.
