What Makes It UncommonThe humble butterfly carries a lot of meaning on its delicate wings, so Anna Avgul immortalized them in stained-glass sculptures. Symbols of transformation, freedom, and beauty, each piece is based on a real species, its color deepening the message behind it.
- Choose from 6 different colors; each comes with a card that explains its unique symbolism:
- The Monarch butterfly, with its striking orange and black wings, is a symbol of freedom, courage, and endurance. It is known for its long migrations across North America.
- Yellow butterflies, associated with happiness and optimism, are recognized for their bright color that uplifts spirits. Yellow butterflies symbolize nurturing, because they’re often found near flowers and plants.
- Blue, the color of peacefulness and tranquility, is embodied by blue butterflies, which symbolize serenity and calm in many cultures. They remind us to take a deep breath and foster more peace in our lives.
- Seeing a Green butterfly may indicate impending success and renewal. Green butterflies symbolize growth and new opportunities, much like the vibrancy of bright green nature in springtime.
- White butterflies are believed to carry messages from departed loved ones, making their appearance particularly poignant during times of loss and remembrance. They also evoke feelings of hope and the promise of new chapters in life.
- A Pink butterfly symbolizes love and compassion. Pink butterflies often represent romantic feelings, nurturing relationships, and emotional healing.
