“Why glass? Compared to other media I've worked in, such as iron and ceramic, glass is immediate and responds right away to any design decisions that I make.”
The mantra "when surrounded by beauty, the spirit is uplifted" embodies the mission of Kitras Art Glass. Stephen Kitras began work as a glassblower in 1988, and in 1994 he formed Kitras Art Glass with his wife, Elke. By 2001 the company had expanded to over 40 employees and a new facility. It is Stephen's goal is to design and produce affordable glass art objects to enhance the lives of others. "I think it’s good to make beautiful things and celebrate beautiful moments," he says. "They happen every day, all around us."

Emily
This solar light lives up to the hype. Trust all the good reviews! It is really pretty out in my garden. I love that it lights up at night. I purchased the yellow and purple one. I'd love to get all the colors. #sweepstakes
Twiggy
The solar lights definitely live up to my expectations.
WaddleChaddle
Semi retirement gift for her gorgeous garden menagerie. Perhaps another is in her future : ). Fast delivery!
Stoj
Perfect to light up the garden late at night.
Emma
It's lovely, just be thoughtful about where you can place it before purchasing.
Robert
Ground is frozen and too hard to place right now. Look as though they will be fine.
Daniel
Agree with another reviewer that cheap and flimsy stakes are the downfall of this product. The glass is beautiful and the LEDs glow brightly but the stakes are cheap and will fold very easily at which point the item is basically ruined.
Cathy Fix
I got these as a gift and I gave them as a gift. I loved them but now they do not light up any more. The people I bought them from have the same problem. Is there something I can do? Are there a replacement for them?
Nee
As mentioned, they are displayed in my front and back yards. I can say, having one for several years, this product is very durable. I had NOT stored indoor the one that I had outdoor for several years. It still looks as good as the new ones.
Jules
I gave this 2 stars because the stakes that come with it are flimsy and they break. All three of mine have broken. The globes themselves are BEAUTIFUL, but what am I supposed to do with 3 beautiful globes and no light stakes to put them on? Really wish you'd offer replacement stakes.
